State Historical Park : The restored Mission Espiritu Santo (Mission Nuestra
Senora del Espiritu Santo de Zuniga) and 2,200 acre park bordering on the San
Antonio River. One mile south of town on 183. Overnight camping and fishing right

Presidio
La Bahia c.1749 - Finest example extant of a Spanish Presidio. The site of
imprisonment for Fannin and his men before their execution. South of town on 183.

Zaragoza State Historic Site: Just in front of the Presidio. There's a statue
of the General and his restored birthplace. Zaragoza was the Mexican General who
defeated Maximillian's forces at the Battle of Puebla - the occasion that more
well-known by it's date of May the fifth or Cinco de Mayo. Grave
