History on a Pinhead

While the creek of the same name rises NE of Roosevelt, Texas and flows into the North Llano River, the settlement of the same name has an extremely brief entry in the Handbook of Texas. Northerners Nick and Jennie Coalson are mentioned as settling at the junction of East and West Copperas creeks shortly after the end of the Civil War.
