TEXAS PETE

Texas Pete - Tall Texan
"This picture is from about 1908 and all it has is 'TEXAS PETE' in old pencil on back."
- William Beauchamp, January 22, 2011

Subject: Texas Pete

Based on information at Forensic Genealogy, the tall gentleman on the Texas Pete postcard appears to be one James G. Tarver. Link below: http://www.forensicgenealogy.info/contest_80_results.html
- Ray Garrison, February 18, 2011

Seeking Information on "Texas Pete"

(Not the hot sauce.)

A recent acquisition and addition to the ever-expanding Beauchamp Photographic Postcard Collection is this 1908 postcard of three men.

Only the date and the words "Texas Pete" appear. It is reasonably safe to assume that Texas Pete would be the gentleman in the center.

If any readers can provide any information on Mr. Beauchamp's find, please write to history@texasescapes.com with Texas Pete in the subject line. - Editor
